I love this time of year. Time for teachers and students to get applying to summer programs (see KBLOG 23 too). One program that looks so GOOD is the National Summer Teacher Institute: United States Patent and Trademark Office. ITS FREE WITH TRAVEL PAID FOR. Held at USPTO Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia (July 21-26). Applications due March 31.

The National Summer Teacher Institute (NSTI) is a multi-day professional development training opportunity designed to support elementary, middle, and high school teachers as they increase their knowledge of concepts of making, inventing, and intellectual property (IP) creation and protection.
