The Challenge:

Parents and teachers can be overwhelmed by the number and variety of websites that can be found while searching for hands-on science activities for their children. Where can one find (without searching the web for hours) vetted, age-appropriate activities, experiments, science projects ideas and science videos? is a questions educators ask.

A Solution:

The fantastic free website Science Buddies is a place that has everything a parent or teacher would need to help facilitate the STEM education of those under their care. You can also select to translate the site information into many languages (select MENU, on the orange menu ribbon, scroll to the bottom and select the language under VIEW SITE MAP)

The list below includes some of the areas that the site addresses.

·       Help with FINDING a science projects and a logical method of carrying out the project.

·       Project guides and science fair directory grade specific guides.

·       Engineering design process.

·       STEM activities and science experiments.
