K-BLOG 8: NASA is a Place to Be: PART 1: NASA Express

The Challenge:

There are many science-based opportunities for young people and teachers that are made available through NASA.   It can be overwhelming to keep up with the immense number of valuable educational products and events NASA provides for free to the public. Below, I have included a website that enables you to access these amazing resources quickly and easily. 

A Solution:

A great way to access the educational material (Kindergarten to University) available through NASA is NASAEXPRESS. You can sign up and subscribe for this unique resource and according to NASA, you can stay up-to-date on internships, challenges, teaching tips, professional development and more. It is sent out once per week on Thursdays. I have discovered relevant and engaging competitions for my students, I have participated in professional development and have passed on useful experiences and opportunities to students and parents.
